Great job on fixing the board. I currently have a board snapped in a very similar way to yours and am thinking of fixing it.

When you placed the two halves together would it of been better to bore out some foam from the sides of the stringer on both broken bits and attach balsa wood to the stringer on both sides to strengthen the joint, or was the fibreglass strong enough.

Great article about a great application of composites materials. What a great demonstration of the power of composites and their useful benefits!

Construction and infrastructure has lots of room for composites applications that save time and materials in large projects. Hopefully the adoption of composites will continue to grow.

To complete our activities we are looking for covering fiberglass rolls adequate to the desert climate, external temperature can regular reach 45 degrees Celsius in summer .
- Greenhouses: Main structure galvanized 2 inches metallic tube ,tunnel type.
- Dimensions: Width 9 m * Height 3,3 m * Length 54 m.
