Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat

Chopped strand mat is made from fiberglass strands chopped into certain length and bonded together with powder binder or emulsion binder. It is compatible with unsaturated polyester. Vinyl ester and epoxy resins. The chopped strand mat can be used in lay-up, filament winding, compression molding etc, process.
The typical end products are laminates, boats, bath equipment, automotive pats and cooling tower etc.
Specs:
- Binder: powder or emulsion.
- Area weight: from 70g/m2 to 900 g/m2, general 300, 450, 600g/m2.
- Width: max 3200mm, general 1040mm, 1250mm, 1270mm.
Product characteristics:
- Good wet-out.
- Easy to form.
- Very high tensile strength, suitable for filament winding or continuous laminating.
- Even thickness.
- Good resistance to water and chemical agent.
