Flame Retardant fiberglass fabric (or called fire-retardant cloth) is a special fiberglass fabric which contains more than 56% silicon dioxide. Excellent heat resistance, it can withstand continuous temperatures of 550 degrees celsius for long periods of time. The product is primarily used in hot work such as welding and burning operations.

It is also useful for thermal and electrical insulation in stress relieving.

It is available in a wide variety of fabricated forms including curtains, seals, pads, cloth and hemmed blankets.

Coated fiberglass fabrics which are fire retardant. The chemically coated fabric comprises a woven or non-woven fiberglass fabric base to which one or more thin layers of a polymeric coating have been applied. The fiberglass fabric base is inherently fire retardant.
