OCV company new spec:

OCV company introduced their new spec Hepex-texTM series fiberglass, These specs have many advantages compared to E-glass:

1. High strength, 30% more than E-glass;
2. High modulus, 17% more than E-glass;
3. Low linear thermal expansion value, 30% less than E-glass;
4. 10 times vibration performance as E-glass;

Application:

1. Used in wind turbine, lowers weight 10%, enlarge the length 6%,
2. Used in bullet and explosion proof, lowers weight 40% than steel,
3. Saved 50% cost compared with K29 kevlar fiber or S-glass fiber,
4. Used in pressure vessels, compared with E-glass,
   • 30% strength higher,
   • stiffness 15% higher,
   • toughness 70% higher,
   • 10 times fatigue life,
5. The products are also used in areaspace products.

AGY company new spec:

AGY company introduces S-Series TM specs, higher strength 40%~70%, can used in wind turbine, pressure vessels, bullet proof armor, areaspace, etc, their Featherlight TM, Quicksilver TM has much more strength than E-glass, 5%~10% protective performance more than S-2 spec in fiberglass bullet proof armor products, they are new bullet proof fiberglass specs.

Toyobo company new spec:

Japan Toyobo company introduced NE series fiberglass, their dielectric constant are only 2/3 of E-glass on low frequency or high frequency, They are used in super computers, high speed wide-frequency communication equipment, high performance electronic equipment, the products produced PCB radar antenna radome wave transparent reaches up to 98%.
